Your capable little preschooler is a creative force now.
Their play is more imaginative than ever and they now have the skills to make elaborate and surprising art projects. They’re also able to make connections—between people and ideas—that they weren’t able to see last year. (And that maybe you hadn’t seen them before either!) Your preschooler is fully becoming their own unique self and will soon be ready for the independence and delight of kindergarten.

The Willow Room is where your child’s creative energy can find its path. The rhythm of each day is designed to prepare the children for school without losing the opportunity to be spontaneous and to follow their passions. Circle time is a space for learning and sharing as we discover new interests and to get to know our friends better.
Preschoolers are also incredibly good teachers. Their growing empathy and their understanding of what it feels like to be a little worried or confused helps them be patient and explain everything a friend needs to know. Our teachers nurture the children’s teaching instincts by creating opportunities for them to share knowledge with their classmates and mentor friends, especially when children are new to the Willow Room and need a buddy.
